DOGS OF A CERTAIN AGE: Portraits of Senior Dogs

Clients sometimes hesitate to tell me why they’re motivated to have a portrait of their senior dog taken; those white muzzles are reminders that time is fleeting. Senior dogs are the most precious and profound companions in our lives. They have been with us through all the celebratory and difficult moments, and their love has been steadfast throughout. I take care to be attentive to the special physical needs that senior dogs have and to convey dignity and recognition of their deep and lasting devotion that is unlike anything else.
